Municipal Election

Chances are high that your name is no longer on the voting registry.

The voting registry has been moved from MPAC to Elections Ontario and in the process, the not all data has been retained

(In North Kawartha alone, the count of Seasonal Residents dropped from 7,055 in 2022 to 2,120 in 2026. It’s probably safe to say that almost 5000 cottagers have not abandoned their cottages or become permanent residents)

You need to take action to get back on registry.

Multiple pieces of ID are required. It’s not a fool proof process.
I’ve taken one stab at it, been rejected, because I missed a document, and need to try again…

Visit NorthKawartha.ca
to get links to check your status and
to initiate the registry process.

You can follow the links per the email sent to membership on June 18th.
We encourage you to read through the material to learn more about the lake:
* Business

* Lake Steward Report
* Guest Speakers
* The Trapper – Rory  Cummings
* Park Biologist (Acting) – Amy Strizic

“How long is the firehose?”
